Lindsay & Mason

While in high school, Lindsay and Mason worked at the same grocery store where they met. They grew up in neighboring towns in North Georgia but never dated until reconnecting at Georgia Tech. After a few years as a Tech couple, they knew they wanted to get married. While on a beautiful hike surrounded by close friends in Jackson Hole, WY, Mason got down on one knee and proposed to an elated Lindsay. “It was a very sweet moment and we loved that we got to share it with some of our closest friends,” says Lindsay.

Michaela & Alex

Michaela and Alex met through the Georgia Tech Honors Program. They even lived in the same building for three years, but never met until Spring 2015. They started dating that fall and graduated together in the spring of 2016. After a beach proposal three years later, the couple is set to marry on July 20, 2019.

Alyssa & Gabe

This happy couple, Alyssa and Gabe, met in the Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket Marching Band in the fall of 2015, and started dating a year later. Alyssa was on the drumline while Gabe played the baritone and trombone. Even after graduating they still love coming back to their roots, which is why you can find them in the stands at every home game — cheering on the band at halftime!

Vishakha & Vikram

Vishakha and Vikram both joined Alpha Kappa Psi at Georgia Tech, where they met. Through Alpha Kappa Psi events and dance competitions, they got to know each other and realized they shared many interests, including computer science. Now they’ve been together over two years, and hope to advance their interests in software engineering together on the West Coast.

Kate & Damian

Kate and Damian met through Georgia Tech’s Chamber Choir during their sophomore year. While they sang alongside each other starting in August, it wasn’t until April that they finally sat down and talked to each other before a large performance. While their first date may have led to food poisoning on the morning of one of their concerts, they were unfazed and have been dating ever since!

Brett & Aadarsh

Brett and Aadarsh met online, and first started dating in the spring of 2018 when they took an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence course together. One of their first dates was the Georgia Tech Night at the Georgia Aquarium. They’ve been together a little over a year now, and hope to enjoy many Valentine's Days together.

Shaday & Jahi

“Jahi and I were both student athletes at GT,” says Shaday Word-Daniels . “He was a corner-back for the football team and I was a point guard on the basketball team. We initially met in the training room.”

“We hosted our wedding reception on July 12, 2014 in the McCamish Pavilion,” Shaday recalls. “I’m proud I chose GT for many reasons. Meeting the love of my life definitely tops the list!”

Marissa & Griffin

These sweethearts, Marissa and Griffin, met during their first year of high school. They would race each other to biology class and text each other nonstop. Griffin asked Marissa out during their sophomore year in college and even 3D-printed her an Eiffel Tower replica for her birthday. They have both always wanted to go to Georgia Tech, so Marissa was ecstatic when she got the news that he could transfer in! "Tech just keeps getting better with him here," says Marissa.

Ariana & Nick

The Yellow Jacket Marching Band and music community brought Ariana and Nick together. The couple have plans to stay in Atlanta, with a Georgia Tech theme wedding on the horizon. The two will be getting married in June of this year. “You can't go wrong with white and gold,” Ariana says.

Jillian & Alan

Jillian and Alan grew up on the same street and went to the same elementary and middle schools, but never connected until their graduate studies at Georgia Tech. Alan asked Jillian out on Valentine’s Day — and the rest is history. Two years later, they are both officially alumni, with Alan receiving a master’s in biomedical innovation and development and Jillian receiving a master’s in public policy. "We are so thankful for the Institute, not only for our education but also for bringing us together — even if we had to move 600 miles from home to do it," Jillian says.

Miranda & Fernanda

Miranda and Fernanda met through rooming together their first year at Georgia Tech. They made an instant connection and became best friends. Every weekend they would spend nights watching their favorite movies together. During one of their weekly movie nights, Fernanda gathered up the courage to kiss her, and has not stopped kissing her since.

Surabi & Keshav

Surabi met Keshav during her first year at Tech, when she begged him to help her with CS1301 homework, promising him a trip to Sweet Hut in return. After two years of solid friendship, they started dating their final year at Georgia Tech. "Even though we haven't been dating very long, he's just been a true friend to me for a long time, through my lowest and highest points, and he's one of the most caring people you will ever meet. Thanks for being in my life," Surabi says.

Hannah & Jonathan

On an early morning in the spring of 2016, a Georgia Tech campus ministry trip brought Hannah and Jonathan together. That summer, the beginnings of a wonderful friendship formed. After many trips and experiences, Jonathan invited Hannah to Amelie’s cafe to discuss their relationship. He was already sitting down when she arrived, and he didn’t bother with much small talk before asking Hannah if she wanted to begin a relationship. A couple years later, on a special beach trip with family, Jonathan got down on one knee and asked Hannah to marry him. Hannah and Jonathan will graduate this summer and get married in August. One of their favorite things about Georgia Tech is that it brought them together.

Cassandra & Andy

Both on the Georgia Tech crew team, Cassandra and Andy met after a team event in January 2012. They started dating in 2013, and just got engaged this past December in Hawaii. Valentine’s Day will mark seven months until their wedding in Atlanta!

Beth & Nick

A tour of the Scheller College of Business brought Beth and Nick together. They became instant friends, and a few months later, started dating. This past July, Nick plotted with his best friend (the Ramblin’ Wreck driver) to take Beth to brunch in the Wreck. Instead of brunch, she was taken to Harrison Square where Nick was waiting on one knee. “Georgia Tech gave me the love of my life, and for this, I am eternally grateful,” Beth says

Kelly & Tony

Kelly and Tony met while both pursuing a degree in computer science. They became best friends, and throughout their time at Georgia Tech, they studied together, graduated together, and even found jobs together. Last week, Kelly and Tony tied the knot, and they will forever be a #TechCouple.
